This Privacy Policy explains what information SlimFitGym ("SlimFitGym", "we", "us", or "our") collects when you use the SlimFitGym mobile application (the "App"), how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
01 Information we collect
We only collect information needed to run the App and deliver your personalized fitness experience. This falls into the following categories:

| Activity data | Daily step count (from your device's motion / activity-recognition sensor), calories consumed and burned, logged meals, completed workouts, streaks, and progress over time. |
| Generated plans | The meal plans and workout routines created for you, including calorie and macro targets. |
| Social | Friend connections you create and the requests you send or accept. Friends you connect with can view your fitness progress (steps, calories burned, streak, and exercises). |
| Technical | Basic technical data required to operate and secure the service, such as your authentication session. |
We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos beyond an avatar you choose, or any special-category data we haven't listed above.
02 How we use your information
- To create your account and authenticate you securely.
- To generate and continually personalize your meal and workout plans.
- To calculate your calorie targets, deficit, and track your daily progress.
- To power social features — friend requests and shared progress — that you opt into.
- To verify your email address and let you reset your password.
- To maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the App.
We process this data because it's necessary to provide the service you requested, and, where required, on the basis of the consent you give when you sign up and grant sensor permissions.
04 International data transfers
SlimFitGym is operated from India, and our service providers may process and store data in other countries, including the United States. Where data crosses borders, we rely on our providers' safeguards to protect it consistently with this policy.
05 Data retention
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently remove your personal data and associated fitness records from our systems, except where we're required to retain limited information to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes. Backups are cycled out on a rolling basis.
06 How we protect your data
- Passwords are never stored in plain text — only as a one-way cryptographic hash.
- All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections.
- Access to production data is restricted to authorized systems and personnel.
No method of transmission or storage is ever 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard measures.
07 Your choices and rights
You have control over your information:
- Access & correction — view and edit your profile, targets, and personal details directly in the App.
- Deletion — permanently delete your account and all associated data from within the App, or by contacting us at the address below.
- Sensor permissions — step tracking requires motion/activity permission, which you can revoke anytime in your device settings (some features will stop working).
- Email — we only send transactional emails (verification and password reset); we don't send marketing email.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data. To exercise any of them, contact us and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
08 Children's privacy
SlimFitGym is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
09 Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continued use of SlimFitGym after an update means you accept the revised policy.
